With an experienced and customer-focused sales and service team, we confidently serve the electrical utility, transmission, distribution, telecommunications, and industrial markets.
Tallman Equipment is staffed with expert tool specialists who are available to advise our customers on nearly any product or tool need including:
stringing, lifting/rigging, fiberglass, rubber goods/cover-up, and grounding & jumpering.
We are currently seeking a Tool Specialist to join our inside sales team.
The Tool Specialist will be responsible for sales growth and business development through inbound and outbound calls from electrical utilities, contractors, electrical cooperatives, and distribution.
This position will be located at Tallman Equipment's Central Division in Addison, IL.
Detailed Description Has a passion for sales in the electrical transmission & distribution markets Differentiates Tallman Equipment products and services from competition utilizing product and non-product factors Has a strong commitment to providing customer service within a team environment Overcome the objections of prospective customers Manage key accounts through prompt customer service Pro-active with consistent follow ups on quotes and leads Updates knowledge through researching products and participating in educational opportunities Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features Critical Competencies Strong communications skills, both written and oral Self-motivated and self-directed Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently Well organized relative to tasks and account management Ability to work the necessary hours to effectively execute job responsibilities Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales Proficient in computer-related skills Education & Experience No prior sales experience required PC Skills using spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management applications preferred Ability to work with customer relationship management (CRM) software Job Type:

$35,000.
