We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Technician specializing in Flow Control Valves.
This role is vital as you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our flow control systems.
You will be part of a dynamic team, troubleshooting and maintaining our equipment, and ensuring our manufacturing processes continue to operate at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1.
Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing flow control valves and associated equipment.
2.
Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
3.
Carrying out electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and rectify technical faults.
4.
Conducting mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our equipment.
5.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
6.
Collaborating with the engineering team to improve equipment design and functionality.
7.
Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
8.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
9.
Providing technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
10.
Participating in continuous training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Service Technician role should possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven experience in flow control, valve repair, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance.
3.
A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
4.
Strong understanding of flow control systems and valve operations.
5.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6.
Proficient in using various tools and equipment used in valve repair and maintenance.
7.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
8.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9.
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
10.
Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
