You are expected to be able to address customer concerns, supervising front of the house staff members, taking payments and closing out the drawer each shift as needed.
Generally, you are expected to be able to ensure a smooth operation from the front of the house side.
You will not be responsible for payroll, coaching, inventory, etc.
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host.
As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Escort guests to their tables and provide menus and silverware - Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests - Manage waitlists and reservations - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries - Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service - Provide guests with information about the restaurant, including daily specials and promotions - Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner - Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service - Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred - Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order entry and payment processing - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills - Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus Join our team as a Host/Host and enjoy the following
