Position Details:
The Addison Public Library is seeking a friendly, creative, and customer-focused person to help patrons with their information needs, from basic technology questions to finding that book they once read with the green cover.
Your role in connecting patrons to these resources is crucial and valued.
You'll also have the opportunity to work on programs, special projects, and participate in library-wide committees.

Knowledge of pop culture and current publishing trends.
Passion for connecting patrons to resources.
Excellent research skills.
Effective, enthusiastic, and respectful communication skills.

Qualifications:
LTA or bachelor's degree preferred.
Directly related experience and/or enrollment in higher education may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
Two years' customer service experience required.
Evening and weekend work required.
Access to transportation required.
